Group Perfume-Making Master Class
In 120 minutes, each participant in a group of 3 to 10 people goes through the full cycle: selecting a fragrance profile, blending notes, recording the formula — and holds a finished 10, 30, 50, or 100 ml bottle of their own perfume.
The Elixir Perfume Laboratory holds sessions at its physical laboratories in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk.
Create your own fragrance
Each participant blends, selects notes, and builds their own formula independently, while the master perfumer guides the process and records the recipe. The formula is saved: you can reorder at any time.
The raw materials are premium grade, sourced from leading global suppliers. Every formula is automatically checked for compliance with the IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standard — the international ingredient safety regulation.

The format is suited for get-togethers with friends, corporate team building, bachelorette parties, birthdays — any occasion that calls for a shared experience and a personal result for everyone.

How to choose the format of a group perfume-making master class
The choice of format depends on the goal and the makeup of the group. Below are four scenarios with their key differences, so you can quickly find the right option.
Three examples of how different groups choose a format:
A group of 6 friends, a bachelorette party in Kyiv. They chose the entertainment format: in 2 hours each one blended her own fragrance while the master perfumer recorded the formulas — and by the end everyone had a different bottle from the same evening.
A family with two teenagers. The family format with light theory: parents and kids chose notes together and left with 10 ml bottles and one shared memory.
How the master class works and what each participant creates in 120–180 minutes
The session moves from feeling to decision.
[1]
A short consultation with a master perfumer
10–15 minutes: top, heart, and base notes — how they behave and how to build the logic of your future composition.
[2]
Blending
Each participant works with more than 400 ingredients, tests combinations on blotters, and adjusts proportions. The master perfumer helps throughout the process. The number of attempts is unlimited.
[3]
Recording the formula and production
When you're happy with the fragrance, the master perfumer records the exact recipe. The formula is stored in the laboratory's database. The fragrance is poured into a 10, 30, 50, or 100 ml bottle right in front of the participant.
[4]
A finished bottle to take home
Each comes with a signature scent and the ability to repeat the order at any time.

The most fascinating part is watching people with no experience walk out after two hours with something truly their own

Safety: allergies, sensitivity, and raw material quality control
All raw materials comply with the IFRA (International Fragrance Association) standard — the international regulation that sets the permitted concentration of every ingredient depending on how it is applied. The Elixir checks each formula automatically: a participant with no perfumery experience physically cannot exceed a safe dose by accident.
High-grade synthetic molecules are often safer for sensitive skin than natural absolutes. That is why the laboratory selects raw materials by quality and safety profile, not by an “organic” or “natural” label.
If you have allergies or heightened sensitivity:
Let us know when booking. The master perfumer will adjust the set of accords in advance and exclude problematic notes. Testing on paper (blotters) instead of applying to the skin is standard practice for those working with perfume concentrates for the first time.
Who a group master class is for and when it's chosen as a gift
Want an unusual gift for someone who already has everything? Looking for an activity for a group of 3 to 10 people? Planning a team building or corporate event with a creative element? Celebrating a birthday, bachelorette party, anniversary, or just a get-together?
Birthday
after which everyone goes home with something of their own.
Bachelorette party
where a group blends fragrances together and leaves with bottles that smell different — yet all like one shared memory.
Corporate event
after which everyone on the team has a personal fragrance with a saved formula.
If the date hasn't been agreed yet, choose a gift certificate and hand it over whenever it suits you.
