Delivery and payment

These Rules and Regulations govern the terms of purchase and use of physical and electronic gift certificates (hereinafter referred to as the "Certificate") for masterclasses and products of "The Elixir" perfume laboratory. ​

1. General Provisions

• A Gift Certificate is a document (in physical or electronic form) featuring a unique alphanumeric code that confirms an advance payment and entitles its holder to receive services or goods for an amount equal to the Certificate's nominal value.

• The Certificate is not a legal tender, payment method, or security. ​

2. Certificate Formats and Delivery

• Physical Certificate: A printed branded card/form. It can be purchased directly at the laboratory or ordered with delivery via Nova Poshta.

• Electronic Certificate: A digital document sent to the email address specified by the buyer at a designated date and time. It holds the same validity as a physical certificate. ​

3. Activation and Usage Rules

• Advance Booking: To use a Certificate for a masterclass, the holder must book the date and time of the visit in advance via the website theelixir.ai/book-online or through the laboratory administrator, explicitly providing the unique Certificate code.

• Presentation: During the visit to the laboratory, the holder must present the physical certificate or show the electronic version (from a smartphone screen or printed) to the administrator before the service begins.

• One-Time Use: The Certificate can only be used once. Upon activation (entering the code on the website or scanning it at the laboratory), the code becomes invalid. ​

4. Financial Terms and Nominal Values

• If the cost of the service/product exceeds the nominal value: The Certificate holder can pay the remaining balance using any convenient payment method (cash or card).

• If the cost of the service/product is less than the nominal value: The difference is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash. However, the remaining balance (if any) can be used to purchase additional laboratory products (e.g., car perfumes or diffusers) during the same visit.

• When choosing a Certificate with the "Custom Amount" option, the funds can be spent on any available services or goods within the specified budget. ​

5. Limitations and Validity Period

• The Certificate is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. If the Certificate is not used within this period, it is automatically cancelled, and the funds paid for it are non-refundable.

• The Certificate is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalent.

• Official laboratory discounts, promotional offers, and promo codes do not apply to the purchase of Certificates and cannot be combined with them at checkout (unless otherwise stated in the terms of a specific promotion). ​

6. Loss or Damage

• In case of loss or severe damage to a physical Certificate (making the unique code unreadable), it can only be reissued if the buyer provides a receipt or proof of purchase transaction, and provided that the Certificate is personalized or registered in the laboratory's database.

• The buyer/recipient is solely responsible for the security and confidentiality of the unique electronic Certificate code. The laboratory bears no responsibility for the unauthorized use of the Certificate by third parties if the email or code is shared with others.
