Custom perfume: a fragrance according to your brief
Tell the perfumer what kind of fragrance you’d like: your favourite notes, the mood you’re after, or a fragrance you’d like to emulate. Within an hour in the laboratory, they’ll create a formula, whilst you’ll sample the results and suggest any changes. The result is a 30, 50 or 100 ml bottle of eau de parfum, IFRA-certified.

A fragrance that no one else has: an in-person session and a preserved formula
The session is available in person in Kyiv and Ivano-Frankivsk. You work one-to-one with a perfumer, explore a collection of professional accords, and the perfumer builds the composition step by step based on your feedback.
The formula is stored in the laboratory — the fragrance can be recreated or adjusted at any time. If, after wearing it for the first time, you wish to change something, the perfumer will retrieve the saved formula and make the adjustments without having to start the session from scratch.
How the process works: from first contact to the finished bottle

Before the session, you already have a rough understanding: what notes you like, what the fragrance should be like, what feeling or mood you want to convey.

The perfumer selects the components
Based on your request, the master selects notes for samples — top notes, heart notes, and base notes. You sniff each option and give feedback.

Joint adjustment
Together you refine the balance: more warmth or freshness, heavier or lighter, more stable or more delicate. As many iterations as needed.

Final formula
When the fragrance sounds the way you wanted it to, the formula is fixed and embodied in a 30, 50, or 100 ml bottle.

The more specific you are, the faster the perfumer gets in the right direction and the fewer iterations are needed for the final result.

Bring samples of perfumes that you like. One bottle will tell the perfumer more than a long description.
Safety of the composition and allergies
The composition is tested according to the IFRA standard - an international regulation that establishes safe concentrations of aromatic materials for the skin. Raw materials from leading global suppliers: the composition is known, the origin is confirmed.
Allergies and skin sensitivities are discussed prior to the session. The perfumer will ask about known reactions and immediately eliminate problematic ingredients.
During the session, there are an unlimited number of attempts. You sniff the samples and tell them what to change, and the perfumer adjusts the formula until the fragrance sounds exactly how you feel.
How to reorder a fragrance with your own formula
If you have already created a custom perfume at The Elixir, you can order it again. The formula is stored in the laboratory's database, so you don't need to go through a session with the master again.
We will recreate the fragrance according to the saved recipe. You can pick up the finished bottle in person or order delivery across Ukraine.
